ČSOB Smart Key (ČSOB Smart klíč, CSOB Smart klic) is comfortable method for secure logon and validation of transactions and settings changes in ČSOB InternetBanking 24 through the security codes in a mobile device and serves as an alternative to SMS codes. ČSOB Smart Key works also without internet connection.User first downloads to the mobile device the application ČSOB Smart Key from the official store. Then he activates the application with the code, which he can obtain in ČSOB InternetBanking 24 (in Settings> Security> Smart Key), ATM or branch. Activation is simple, he just follows the activation wizard after first run of the application.
If the mobile device is connected to the Internet, the newly after logon or any transaction in ČSOB InternetBanking 24 user only confirms the current operation in the mobile application and the confirmation is automatically transferred to ČSOB InternetBanking 24, where he can immediately see it.
If the mobile device is not connected to the Internet, he can scan a graphic QR code with application from ČSOB InternetBanking 24. Security code generated by application in the mobile device, he then rewrites into ČSOB InternetBanking 24 similarly as he does when confirming with SMS Key.
